The Malaysian Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MICCI), Penang originated in the early 1920’s and is the earliest Indian Chamber founded in Malaysia. Establishment of this chamber is to explore various opportunities in the area of economic enhancements and developments of the Indian community in Penang. It represents the Indian Business community in the private sector with direct affiliations with the government.
ASEAN
This Conference is organized by the Malaysian Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Penang, supporting ASEAN 2015 Integration and Malaysia’s Chairmanship of the ASEAN Summit 2015. Around 300 participants mainly from the Malay, Indian, Chinese, and International Chambers of Commerce has attended the conference, with 3 objectives in mind for participants:
